Difference between revisions 51066247 and 51565453 on enwiki

What's the deal with the bizarro picture?  It looks like a last-known-photo type photo. And this is the one that she herself uploaded to wikipedia? This isn't MySpace...There has to be a better one to use that shows the subject of the article more clearly.

The more I look at this, the more it seems like a press release; I even suspect that Boof herself may have written the article, since she is the one who claims to have uploaded the picture. Very poor job done of citing refrences. I'm marking this for NPOV and no refrences.

After several days of dealing with users IP 71.110.253.210, [[User:Fermico|Fermico]], and most recently [[User:Fermico2|Fermico2]] (most likely all the same person) reverting back between the old version of the [[Kola Boof]] article (a poorly written piece with no refrences cited; about the equivalent of a press release by the author herself) and the version I recently painstakingly re-wrote (over a few days and spent a long time looking for sources), as well as being personally threatened by the user, I've decided to ask for some sort of moderator/admin intervention. 

The user doesn't respond to the talk section of the article itself, and when user [[User:Ixfd64|Ixfd64]] reccomended gently on the [[User_talk:Fermico|Fermico user's talk page]] that "Before making potentially controversial edits, it is recommended that you discuss them first on the article's talk page. Otherwise, people might consider your edits to be vandalism," the Fermico user responded, strangely under a subject heading "Kola Boof" that "Anyone attempting to change this page to suit their own purposes, should contact Kola Boof herself at [email protected]."

After this happened, and the edits everyone else made were continually reverted to the old press-release type article, I decided to message the user [[User:Fermico2|Fermico2]] on their [[User_talk:Fermico2|talk page]] to see if I could open a dialogue in to why they kept changing the article. I sent a message welcoming them to the site, but informing them that all articles must adhere to the [[NPOV]] policy as well as the Wiki syntax standards.  They responded with this:


"I know all about the way WIKI works and I've been managing Ms. Boof's page for more than a year. And all the links we provide more than cover the information we've provided.

Explicit and of "legal" connotation is the fact that Ms. Boof GREATLY resents your focus on her relationship with Osama Bin Laden and will go as far as to sue Wikipedia if that whole passage isn't removed.

You can turn this into a war if you wish. Ms. Boof will be the winner."


So it appears that we have a person with a clear agenda trying use this Wikipedia article for their own personal gain, be it incorrect, wrong syntax, and uncited. On top of that, the person claims to be a friend of the subject of the article, and (I believe) it is against wikipedia policy for someone to create/edit a page of someone they know in real life. Can some please help before I'm threatened any further?
