He retired from teaching on [[14 April]] [[2005]]. As of [[July 2005]], he has published three books on linguistic-conceptual analysis (《語理分析的思考方法》), an introduction to existentialism (《存在主義概論》), and a collection of poems (《寒武紀》). He is considered to be one of the most influential thinkers in Hong Kong.
