Originally founded in 1979 in [[Anaheim, CA]] by [[Harry McDermott]], as [[Trinity ATV]], the name was changed to Trinity Racing in the early 1990's when the company because more active in the growing ATV racing scene. The choice of the name Trinity was chosen due to the growing popularity of recreational three-wheeler sales in the United States and abroad. In the following years Trinity Racing has expanded their market to include [[exhaust]] systems, [[EFI]] controllers, and [[billet]] accessories to complement their established big [[bore]] and race engine modifications. Trinity Racing is best known for their extensive work with modifying the [[Yamaha Banshee]] but they have since started working more with some of the new sport ATVs such as the [[Yamaha YFZ450]], [[Honda TRX450]], [[Suzuki LT-R450]], and [[Yamaha Raptor]].
