Difference between revisions 546356389 and 552396655 on enwikiScott Rummell is an actor and voiceover performer, sometimes credited as Scott Rummell Taylor. Scott has mostly done voice overs for video games and movie trailers and has had several guest appearances on Bruce Timm's animated Justice League series in the role of Aquaman. Biography Scott Rummell was born in Los Angeles, California on December 8, 1960. He is the son of retired LA City Fire Chief, Gary Rummell, who just happened to have a beautiful baritone voice. “For a couple of years, when I was very impressionable my dad was the spokesman for the fire department , so it wasn’t uncommon to see him on TV or hear his voice on the radio," Rummell said. Scott caught the vision of using his voice in the media while listening to his father. Scott loved to play with tape recorders, making radio shows, cartoon voices and prank phone calls. After high school Scott toured all over the world with the Continental Singers. Then at age 20, he got a job as an Account Executive at an Orange County, CA radio station and began voicing spots for some of his clients. Around this time he began a voiceover workshop and private study with his mentor Daws Butler, the voice of many well known cartoon characters such as Yogi Bear, Snagglepuss, Elroy Jetson, Captain Crunch and many others. In the mid 80’s, Scott signed with his first agent ICM. For ten years Scott enjoyed a successful commercial career before landing his first movie trailer. Now Scott is heard daily on ABC, CBS, CNN, The CW, Showtime and FOX, and has been heard on thousands of movie trailers and blockbuster film campaigns over the years. Scott was also the voice of Aquaman on The New Justice League. He lives and works at his home studio in Yorba Linda, California. Rummell is represented by Solid Talent, DPN, and Wintner Artist Management. ⏎ ⏎ ==External links== * US-voice-actor-stub All content in the above text box is licensed under the Creative Commons Attribution-ShareAlike license Version 4 and was originally sourced from https://en.wikipedia.org/w/index.php?diff=prev&oldid=552396655.
