The LinuxBBQ Special Editions are releases tailored to suit a specific goal. There are releases aimed at music production, studying and publishing, gaming, visually impaired users, and your mother. These releases contain a specific set of applications that are expected to be useful in a specific case.

The LinuxBBQ Development Editions are releases that experiment with a certain part of the Linux landscape. For example, the 'Gangbang' release contains
