Commonwealth Powerlifting Championships
The inaugural '''Commonwealth Powerlifting Championships''' were held in [[Cramlington]], [[Northumberland]], [[England]] from 9-11 September [[2005]].  The Championships were held at the [[Concordia Leisure Centre]].

The event was orgainised by Fred of the Hirst welfare, Ashington, Northumberland.

The technical team at this event was Initiation:Hybrid that consisted of:<br>
Marc Caisip on sounds and animation.<br>
Stuart Hart on lift replays and recordings.<br>
Ben Cross on Scoreboard creation and design.<br>
Marc Hunter on sounds and music score.<br>

The logo was designed by Marc Caisip, along with other, now official, iconography.
