The '''Babozai''' are a sub-set of the [[Yusufzai]] [[Pashtun tribe]].  A very large proportion of Mingora Swat and Puran subdivisions of Shangla are inhabited by the Babozai.

==Subdivisions==
There are several tribes within Babozai, including  Essa khel , Nangir Khel, Musa Khel, Ado Khel, Aba Khel, Barat Khel, Hasan Khel etc.

A small number of Babuzai people live in Peshawar, at Takht Abad Village on Charsadda road.⏎
