His first appearance established him as a mercenary working for the Council and possessing the ability to manipulate earth and stone. On the Council's behalf, he was terrorizing an African village. While this was disrupted by Sand, Geomancer disappeared. His next two appearances were as a member of Johnny Sorrow's Injustice Society. In the first, he escaped with the majority of the team when they were bested by Wildcat. In the second he was beaten again by Sand, and left unconscious and unaccounted for. In his last appearance, he died when Icicle attempted to free him from a state of suspended animation initiated by the Ultra-Humanite. Someone that looks like Geomancer was seen in Justice League of America #6. He again shows up in JSA All Stars #2, once more fighting under the command of Johnny Sorrow, as part of the Injustice Society. Dialogue in the comic indicates that this is a new bearer of the name, though again, no details are given of his origins. ==Powers and abilities== Geomancer possesses the power of earth manipulation (or "geomancy"). He has control over earth and stone, allowing him to telekinetically control or reshape it, and is able to cause earthquakes. ==In other media== Geomancer appeared in the episode, "Welcome to Earth-2" from and "Escape from Earth-2" onThe Flash, portrayed by Adam Stafford. He wreaks havoc in the city when the Earth-1 Flash is busy visiting Earth-2, hoping to draw the speedster out. During one of his attacks he is attacked by the Earth-2 Flash, Jay Garrick, who loses his speed but allows cop Joe West to shoot Geomancer causing him to retreat. He later causes an earthquake to bring down a building but Jay rescues all the citizens inside. When Jay is resting, Geomancer attacks S.T.A.R. labs but is stopped by Caitlin Snow and arrested. ==References== reflist DC-char-stub All content in the above text box is licensed under the Creative Commons Attribution-ShareAlike license Version 4 and was originally sourced from https://en.wikipedia.org/w/index.php?diff=prev&oldid=705393993.
