In football, he was a standout as a [[quarterback]] and as a [[defensive back]]. Schuyler Anderson graduated from Smithville High School in 2000.

Anderson continued his football career at [[Louisiana College]]. Anderson was a standout wide receiver and kick returner, named a First Team All-[[American Southwest Conference]] as a kick returner and Second Team All-ASC as a wide receiver in 2004.
