:I second this request.  Keeping protected articles that are effectively "in progress" for a protracted period of time is detrimental. I don't care about politics, or your particular views.... but that article is a MAJOR problem, and a major vandalism target because of it.  Do the right thing and remove that listing from In the News.
Also, please do NOT use "rollback" on my edits ever again. == Vandalism in progress page ==

Hi. You changed a lot of the entries on the [[Wikipedia:Vandalism in progress|Vandalism in progress page]] to templates in order to save space. Unfortunately, the wikipedia software only expands templates for the first few instances on a page; the result was that after the first few entries, the posts on the page simply said "Template:Vandal", rather than listing the IP address and so on ([http://en.wikipedia.org/w/wiki.phtml?title=Wikipedia:Vandalism_in_progress&oldid=7331210#169.151.1.213 see the page before I reverted]).
