Cancer Institute (WIA) is a [[cancer]] specialty hospital founded by Dr. [[Muthulakshmi Reddy]] in 1954. It is a public charitable voluntary institute dedicated to the care of cancer for the past 60 years.
It is a comprehensive regional cancer centre comprising of a hospital of 535 beds, a research division, a college of oncological sciences and a division of preventive oncology and provides state of art cancer therapy.
