An art show, original artwork and sculptures from Schand made Models to offering several Make n Take sessions and involving attendees in more of the model making and building process. CosPlay has become a very important part of the convention. More and more attendees are putting together costumes based on popular characters from Science Fiction movies or books. StarFest has dedicated a room just for CosPlayers to take a break from their convention activities or make repairs on their costumes using supplies provided by the convention. The Art Show has grown and allows Artists to display sculptures as well as original pience Fictions of art. There is also an interactive entertainment company called Mischief Managed Entertainment. They produce a Harry Potter inspired show called "Tales From Avistrum". The non-profit company started at the convention in 2001 as a fan group called 'Hogwarts America'. They have since become a staple for the Starfest convention. In 2012, Starfest included entire rooms dedicated tostarted dedicating entire rooms for the weekend to groups that wanted to provide programming for Steampunk, Dr. Who, Battlestar: Galactica, Stargate, Video Gaming, Board Gaming and Klingons. ⏎ ⏎ In addition, past activities included media rooms for such things and Anime, rare episodes, SciFi movies, and foreign SciFi.
