Melvin Anthony grew up to be a Requis look-alike in the 
lower-middle-class neighborhoods of [[Sacramento]] and [[San BernardinoRiverside, California]]. Melvin first started working out in his teenage yearsat 13 and by the time he was 18 had a solid enough physique to earn a football scholarship at [[San Bernardino Valley College (MT.
