An unevolved "baby" version of Vulpix, named Mikon, was designed for the 1999 video games [[Pokémon Gold and Silver|Pokémon Gold'' and ''Silver'']], however, this creature was [[Unused Pokémon in the 1997 Pokémon Gold and Silver demo|cut from the game before release]].
