The '''100 Greatest Cartoons''' was a [[poll]] conducted by the [[United Kingdom|British]] television channel [[Channel 4]] in [[2004]]. 105 [[cartoon]]s were chosen by Channel 4 and then ranked by public poll, with only the top 100 being shown (105 were chosen in response to criticism of previous 'top 100' programmes having a static list to choose from). The ranked list was first broadcast on [[February 27]] [[2005]], from 100 to number 1, featuring the reminiscences of celebrities and media commentators interlaced with clips from the shows themselves.
