This image creates needless contention with religious groups and violates the principal of NPV.  It should be removed from the front page, if not the evolution article entirely.

I absolutely agree. Wikipedia should not host mockeries of religious symbols, regardless of how satirical or even light-hearted the mockery is. A Star of David or Islamic crescent lampooned would not be tolerated.
