Originally a member of the nature-themed [[supervillain]] group called the Masters of Disaster, Windfall rebelled against her sister Riptide and came to sympathize with her team's arch-foes, [[The Outsiders (comics)|The Outsiders]].  Helping to save the life of the [[superhero]]ine [[Halo (comics)|Halo]], she became disassociated from her former team, and began a lengthy stint with the Outsiders.  While in this venue she attended college and has since moved on to a post-heroic lifestyle.
