She previously worked for the Bank of Hawaii as a traveling teller after a bank executive recruited her from a bank in [[Toledo]], [[Ohio]]. Corrigan died at 56 in the crash of [[United Airlines flight 93]] in the [[September 11, 2001 Terrorist Attack]]. She was returning from a series of business and personal trips. She was not scheduled to take flight 93 but decided to leave early to return for a trade show. She is survived by her daughter, Laura Brough, her brother Robert Marisay Jr. of [[Georgia (U.S. state)|Georgia]] along with other family.
