Forex teachers
This is the same info, I've put into the self-promoting forex teachers article.
I believe it should be put here and that that article should be deleted.

Smallbones 17:27, 25 June 2006 (UTC)

:The only problem I see with that is that it would leave forex teachers as a redirect to here, which is a bit extravagant. --GraemeL (talk) 19:10, 26 June 2006 (UTC)

::The alternative is to list forex teachers on AfD and wait a week for it to be deleted. Redirects are cheap and I don't think this one would be too confusing. Eluchil404 11:09, 27 June 2006 (UTC)

Lets be realistic
I am not sure who small bones is, but I believe with all his posts that there are other intentions here... I have met James and he is certainly a great individual. I am sure as well that if you look up Bills Gates or a large company CEO you would find thousands of pages of notes, much with little or no substance. Give the guy a chance, and most of all please get the facts straight.Ravestar 13:40, 12 April 2007 (UTC)

Let's not get carried away folks - certainly if he has business acomplishments they should be put in - but business club breakfast awards??! Also the documented problems with his business must also be included. Wikipedia is not a place for self-promotion and self-advertisements. Smallbones 11:50, 21 September 2006 (UTC)
::ditto for the $10,000 (total) mud volleyball tournament and the toys-for-tots contribution.Smallbones

Quoting individuals who have a beef with him or his company are facts? If this is going to be put in then James should be newspapers and using only good or bad ones is unfair and will lead to opinion based wikis. The article should be deleted completely.able to respond with quotes of his own, which then makes it self promoting and a discussion forum, not a fact based page. And the fraud category is a personal opinion, again not fact.

:Correction - the article quotes multiple reliable sources (Fox TV in Denver, MarketWatch, the Houston Press). The article is factual in that it is fact that these sources published the quoted statements. The reader can judge for himself whether he believes the sources. This level of reliability is required by Wikipedia rules. Please note that most of the accomplishments section does not meet these standards for reliability! (even the mud volleyball stuff). I don't know about the rule for applying categories, but I'd imagine that applying any categorization involves some interpretation of the facts as presented. Since a bit of interpretation is necessary, I don't think that you can complain about this unless you want to outlaw categorization altogether. Smallbones 13:13, 24 September 2006 (UTC)

The information provided in this wiki is walking a fine line between opinion and fact. Finding opinion based articles from

:Please do not just keep on blanking out the documented facts that you don't like. If you want you can list the article for deletion, but this has been done before and failed (see the tags at the top for how to do this). You might want to look up the policy on biographies of Living Persons. This might be an interesting test case on how much can be said about a living person when multiple reliable sources say some pretty nasty things about him and his business practices.

:On the other hand, just listing advertising puffery and self-promotion are definitely not allowed. Smallbones 10:06, 26 September 2006 (UTC)

This article is now in accordance with the MOS.

Deprod
I removed the delete in 5 days notice that was put up supposedly because there is not any sources or documentation in the article. There were lots of sources, now there are more. I'll try to tidy things up and use the right format. Smallbones 12:32, 30 September 2006 (UTC)

:Who do I speak with when there is a violation of the terms of Wikipedia? Easy with the fraudster claims and the "reliable" sources you are getting, which in fact are 2 sources. That makes it a fact? Replublishing articles written by individuals does not make them fact. Is Wikiepdia fact based or heresay? I suggest we agree to delete this entry from Wikipedia.

::I'll ask some 3rd parties to explain to you how to properly list an article for deletion. You should also check Wikipedia policies, for example on WP:reliability and WP:Living Persons. I believe that this article is very well documented (at least the top half)as it currently stands and conforms to Wikipedia policies. As others have attempted to edit it (and started it) it was undocumented puffery and advertisement and did violate Wikipedia policies. Smallbones 10:10, 6 October 2006 (UTC)

Wikification
There are repeated attempts by smallbones to skew the facts. I agree that this is outside of wiki guidelines. I will move for all smallbones comments to be removed Ravestar 13:43, 12 April 2007 (UTC)

One of the problems with this article is that it was far from how a wikipedia article should be formatted. I've made an attempt at improving it per the MOS. This included footnoting the references, and consolidating external links (don't need the same link in two different places). Akradecki 16:06, 6 October 2006 (UTC)

Florida corporation data
I don't know if this is useful, but you can pull up information on corporate officers from the State of Florida's sunbiz.org website. Here for instance is Corporate Officer/Registered Agent Names info for people named "James Dicks" (they may not all be the same person):
* http://www.sunbiz.org/scripts/corofflis.exe (page 1 of 3)

By the way, it looks like Mr. Dicks' middle initial is "E."

I have also posted some info on the talk page for the AfD that recently closed. --A. B. 02:21, 18 November 2006 (UTC)

::Also James W. Dicks or Jack W. Dicks, but possibly not James Earl Dicks. James E. James W. and Jack W. all list the same address on the 25 or so Florida corps bearing their names. Smallbones 21:40, 21 December 2006 (UTC)

James has been actively involved in the new initiative called Operation Homefront. Below is the information. I hope these types of activities continue to grow his positive reputation.

There are many amazing organizations across this nation that have mobilized to help the men and women of the military and their families. If you are regular readers of The James Dicks Magazine, you know that our company is dedicated to the nation’s military, and each month we tell you about others who help these special people in our society. I recently found an extraordinary group of people, led by a dedicated woman named Meredith Leyva, who has formed a group called Operation Homefront.

In their own words, “Operation Homefront is a national nonprofit that provides emergency support and morale to our military troops, the families they leave behind during deployment and wounded warriors when they return home.” That in itself is a marvelous and daunting mission that often creates smiles and always offers relief to the military men and women who come into contact with this special organization.

Untitled section
Its quite clear that smallbones is up to his old tricks-This person has numerous cease and desists from wikipeda it is ridiculous all because he cant keep his edits from being personal. This article is one of them, just look at some of the edits prior and you will see, this edit that he wont let anyone else edit talks about things that have no relevance to Mr. Dicks. Mr. Dicks has no ownership in 4x Made Easy and or Globaltech and never has. There fore who cares what the market watch guy says about 4x made easy post it there not in Mr. Dicks living person bio. Same goes for all the out of context phrase he took from a 6 hour deposition on a case that was dismissed against Dicks. Give me a break just look at some of the things I found on smallbones you be the judge.

smallbones says

"I also feel compelled to defend myself from some of the many, e.g. that I acted in bad faith during mediation.
Most issues in this case relate directly to Smallbones' failure to observe this policy"

I[edit] Harassment
1) Harassment of any editor is not tolerated on Wikipedia.

Comment by parties:
Smallbones posted personal information about me in four separate places in Wikipedia. He also falsely suggested that doing so silenced me (evidence page). Arbitration rulings are clear regarding this behavior.
•	Harassment is defined as a pattern of disruptive behavior that appears to a reasonable and objective observer to have the purpose of causing negative emotions in a targeted person or persons, usually (but not always) for the purpose of intimidating the primary target. The purpose could be to make editing Wikipedia unpleasant for the target, to undermine them, to frighten them, or to encourage them to stop editing entirely.
•	Concentrating negative attention on one or a few other users is a violation of Wikipedia:Harassment...
[edit] Biographies of living people
1) Wikipedia:Biographies of living people should be written responsibly, conservatively, and in a neutral, encyclopedic tone.

Comment by parties:
Smallbones' disregard of BLP policy on Robert Prechter was flagrant to the point of recklessness. His edits overwhelmed the article and sided with critics; I cautioned him twice regarding Wikipedia policy. [13] [14] The second time I provided evidence that he was putting falsehoods into the article and removed the offending text, yet he accused me of "vandalism" andreverted to the false claims.
Please also note: the diffs above show that Smallbones' zealous POV was so extreme toward Prechter that he knowingly included negative comments based on references he had not read and did not possess.

Comment by Arbitrators:
I wonder however if Smallbones has not gone overboard emphasizing negative aspects and criticism. Fred Bauder 22:04, 14 February 2007 (UTC

I do respectfully ask that Committee members take sober notice of how regrettably personal Smallbones has made this Arbitration. In a forum which calls for a civil presentation of facts and evidence, I found it extraordinary that he relentlessly called attention to me -- he would not even use my Wikipedia user name, but referred only to "Folsom." On the evidence page he likened my behavior to that of a religious cultist; this insult is consistent with the "voodoo" and "astrology" edits of his that I put into evidence.
That said, I welcome the Committee's examination of the facts, and will try to respond quickly to any questions the members have.
Thank you for your time and attention.

To summarize how "nothing happened" during the 10 days in question, Smallbones abused the Mediation process by:
•	Flouting the mediator's directive to cease and desist the revert war on Robert Prechter
•	Recruiting help from other users in his efforts to circumvent the page protection
•	Posting the identity of a user with whom he was in mediation
•	Lobbying an administrator for help in removing the page protection
•	Falsely claiming that I disappeared because he posted my identity
•	Using my compliance with the mediator's request as a pretext to get the page protection removed
•	Falsely posting on WP:RFPP that I made a claim of edit warring to get the page blocked
•	More recently, falsely telling this Committee that Prechter's bio was "protected at Folsom's request."
QED. --Rgfolsom 18:20, 25 January 2007 (UTC)

I gave facts to the contrary, which Smallbones ignored or denied in his reply on this page. Marine0311

Repeated deletion of documented material
There has been repeated deletion of relevant documented material here by a single purpose editor. There is an issue of biography of a living person (see WP:BLP) and I will notify the BLP noticeboard. But there is also an appearant attempt here to censor the well documented facts in this case. See WP:NOT. I'll suggest that before deleting well documented facts that any editor acquaint themselves with Wikipedia policy.
