==History==
KARA is Korean girl band created by DSP entertaiment. The group consists of [[Park Gyu Ri]], 19 years old, [[Han Seung Yeon]], also 19 years old, [[Kim Sung Hee]], 18 years old and [[Nicole]], 16 years old. Kara was created to bring a sweet and energetic breath of fresh air into the local pop music world.

The group made their debut with the album entitled "The First Blooming" on March 29, 2007. Their debut album shows off their diverse musical style, which incorporates funk, hip-hop, dance and pop. Their recent hit singles are 'Break It'and 'If You Wanna'.

* KARA have an official Fans club known as Kamilia (카밀리아). The meaning came from the latin word "familia" , familia means family. Kara+familia equals Kamilia! So it means kara and their fans are family. Kara have A peach color for baloon that hold by their fans in every concert.
* KARA is taking part in SBS's new drama ""강남엄마 따라잡기" [Kangnam Omma Darajabki]" OST. Their song's name is "Fighting", which has a lively beat & fun melody, bringing fresh feelings to audiences. Member Kim Sunghee has participated in Three-leaf clover OST, but this the first time all KARA members have joint together.
* Recently KARA is being compared with another girlband named [[Wonder Girls]].  KARA said that the comparison could be good for both of groups, it helps them become more mature and they hope that they would be compared by their talents instead of age similarity.
