Good idea... but the name precludes a taxon of some other rank being declared invasive. For example, a species might not in general be considered invasive, but one of its subspecies might. Also, the category name makes it problematic to include more general articles like [[invasive plants of Australian origin]] or [[invasive grasses of North America]].
