'''Moond''' is a [[clan]] of [[Jats]] found in [[Rajasthan]], [[India]]. Ramesh Chandra Gunarthi in his book “Rajasthani Jatiyon ki khoj” (1977) has mentioned about the origin of this gotra. One of the sons of Raja Mangal Rao Bhojsi of [[Bhati]] clan  was Moonda who joined Jats. The descendants of Moonda are known as Moond. The capital of Moond Kings was at village [[Mandore]] in [[Jodhpur district]]. Other places connected with the history of Moonds are villages ''[[Munda]]'' ([[Churu district]]), ''[[Mundsar]]'' ([[Bikaner district]]), ''[[Mundara]]'' ([[Pali district]]), ''[[Mandawa]]'' ([[Jhunjhunu district]]), ''[[Mundwa]]'' ([[Nagaur district]]) etc. in [[Rajasthan]], [[India]]. 

Moond Jats are presently found in district [[Sikar]], [[Jodhpur]], [[Bikaner]] and [[Jhunjhunu]] in [[Rajasthan]].
