Revision 178775957 of "Talk:Whisbih" on enwiki

I didn't post this as an ad, but just for information. I personally think Whisbih is foul-tasting, horrible stuff. But it's part of the culture in Taiwan, like Spam is in the West. Is the page for Coca Cola an ad? {Bubbha 13:39, 16 December 2006 (UTC)}
An added note to the above - there is so far nothing in this article (a stub) which promotes the drink (e.g. flavor, efficacy, benefits); they are only statements of fact. An ad would tout the product; this article does nothing of the sort. There is a social stigma I've observed, that it's essentially a blue-collar drink and that white-collar workers and educated people look down on it. But this is speculative (via observation and hearsay) and probably would by NPOV. What do others think? {Bubbha 13:55, 16 December 2006 (UTC)}
: I didn't see this drink in google searches, thus the db. your certainly not a spammer, the drink article may however, lacks notability. --Hu12 14:34, 16 December 2006 (UTC)
:: Just FYI, I get 1160 hits when I search Google for this drink. I think the article is worth mentioning (and being given a chance to grow) because it's somewhat of a cultural phenomenon in Taiwan. {Bubbha 16:08, 16 December 2006 (UTC)}
:::I agree. Easily found in Google via "whisbih drink", even in English.. and I've heard of similar products in Japan. Also, WP:CSB and all that. Perel 17:03, 16 December 2006 (UTC)
re- googled it and came up with this result Whisbih+energy+drink shows 8 actual with 8 omited. --Hu12 17:08, 16 December 2006 (UTC)All content in the above text box is licensed under the Creative Commons Attribution-ShareAlike license Version 4 and was originally sourced from https://en.wikipedia.org/w/index.php?oldid=178775957.
