This particular token was manufactured from [[paper]]. Mill tokens were issued in various denominations from 1-9 mills, and usually ranged in size from the size of a U.S. [[cent (U.S. coin)|cent]] to that of a [[nickel (U.S. coin)|nickel]].

The image is believed to be fair-use when used to illustrate the article on [[Mill (currency)]].  It is a rare (perhaps unique) example of a "coin" that was issued in the value of one mill. -- [[User:Zsero|Zsero]] ([[User talk:Zsero|talk]]) 23:38, 2 January 2008 (UTC)
