Common Travel Area
Hi Hoserjoe, You added a line about there being a "Common Travel Area" between the US and Canada. Is it actually called that? I can't find anything on the web about it. Thanks, ... ==Elvis Presley==
Your "Christian" additions have been noted. I was wondering: is there a difference between "Christian" music and "Gospel" music, which is already mentioned as being a very significant musical influence? If their isn't, your additions, specifying Christianity, look rather odd. I think such additions, like the reference to the Blackwood Brothers, need citations to support them. Thank you. == Guyana ==

I removed comments about pro-western people and pro-marxists. It's a little too much of an editorial for an encyclopedia article. All the best, -JodyB <font color="red">talk</font> 00:04, 23 December 2007 (UTC)

::Sorry - I assumed that everyone was familiar with the battle between the Africans and Indians in Guyana. I added a link to Cheddi Jagan's page, which briefly summarises the racial conflict between the Indian Marxists and the African free-enterprisers. ==Jamaica==
Just wanted to say that I always enjoy a bit of back-and-forth, midly-contentious. It's not quite the Wikipedia norm, but it is usually enjoyable, and I find it keeps me on my toes. Depite my criticisms and perhaps nit-pickings, you are making a lot of good edits to the Jamaica-related pages, and that is a good thing for Wikipeida. I usually don't take such interactions too personally, and ask that you don't either. We both seem to have direct experience in Jamaica (I don't go into details in open forums) which brings it's own perspective to each of us. Granted, that experience isn't citable, but it can guide us in spotting errors, or what we think are errors.

You've made some very good additions with sources today especially, particularly to the "Religion" section. If much more detail on smaller items in that section is added, or if there is more to come, we might want to think about splitting off the section to its own page (I haven't found it if there is one already). Also, the Islam in Jamaica article, as skimpy as it is on hard sources, could probably be merged into the new article, and any other "Religion in Jamaica" stubs that are out there. (The oldest of those stubs would be better moved to the new title, if it's not likely to be expanded on its own soon.) - BillCJ (talk) 00:55, 23 December 2007 (UTC)

Is Rastafarianism a religion?
Due to recent "edits" by a self-proclaimed Rasta, we are having to revisit the "Is Rastafarianism a religion?" question. Since you added info stating that it was not, you might want to weigh in on this at Talk:Jamaica#Religion reorganization. - BillCJ (talk) 00:06, 1 January 2008 (UTC)

You know how this works. Cut it out. Take it to the talk page. Welcome to the club. You are now the 5th editor to call for action against 141. I will include your talk page entry in the submission to the Arbcom, unless you state otherwise. I plan to submit early in January. Steve Pastor (talk) 17:00, 26 December 2007 (UTC)
:I think I finally figured out all of the formatting to get the Arbcom submittal ready. I just looked at some of the "verifiable, well sourced" but incorrect material 141 put in the Steve Allen and Ed Sullivan Show articles. It's very sad, but I don't even want to get into it in those articles. And I am ready to do this. I will file on Monday, so I will have to time to notify everyone. Thanks for the input. I'll post a link to the Arbcom case on Monday, too. Steve Pastor (talk) 20:37, 5 January 2008 (UTC)
