Tropical Island is an island 6 km off the coast of [[Mauritius]]. It is most famous for its rare known canne à sucre turtles that live off the sugar cane's straw.
Tropical Island was discovered by Artemis Phidelity, who discovered the island in the Indian ocean cluster or,as it is more commonly known, the Phidelity this which was also discovered by Artemis Phidelity. It is governed by France, as are the rest of the islands in the Phidelity Cluster. It is not very well known because it is over shadowed by Mauritius, it is also to small to be on any world map. The Tropicahns are enraged by this and have started a national campaign.
It has no airport but it is possible to access Tropical Island by flying to Sir Seewoosagur Ramgoolam International Airport (MRU/FIMP) in Mauritius and then take a 25 minute ferry ride from Grand Bay to Lavin Bay. Although it is not much of a tourist destination, if you're in Mauritius it is worth a trip down to go to Tango Beach a relaxing, unspoilt beach with clear waters. All content in the above text box is licensed under the Creative Commons Attribution-ShareAlike license Version 4 and was originally sourced from https://en.wikipedia.org/w/index.php?oldid=210200060.
