'''Ulrich Winkler''' (born [[January 4]], [[1984]] in [[Munich]], [[Germany]]) is an [[American football]] [[defensive end]] for the [[Tennessee Titans]] of the [[National Football League]]. 

As [[Germans|German]], Winkler has no experience in [[high school football]] or [[college football]]. After playing amateur football in Germany from 1999 to 2004 for the [[Munich Cowboys]], he was signed by the [[Rhein Fire]] in 2005 and played three seasons for [[Frankfurt Galaxy]], recording 20 tackles and 4.5 sacks in 2007. 

Winkler was selected for the [[NFL International Development Practice Squad Program]] and practised in 2006 in the [[Cleveland Browns]] practise squad. 

He was signed in 2007 by the Titans.
