TinyMe is a lightweight PCLinuxOS-based Linux distribution. The project started in November 2006. Development took place between several members of MyPCLinuxOS until KDulcimer took over solo development in April 2007. The first stable version of TinyMe was released in May 2008. Development continued on the MyPCLinuxOS forum with other MyPCLinuxOS projects until September 2007, when the TinyMe project was moved its own subdomain of MyPCLinuxOS. In September 2008, TinyMe moved to its own site hosted off MyPCLinuxOS.
It uses the Openbox window manager which is smaller and faster than KDE, which is used in PCLinuxOS.
TinyMe is comparable to Puppy Linux, AntiX and Damn Small Linux.
The distribution's Live CD ISO image is 200 MB in size and can be installed into hard drive or USB flash drive.
On 23 September 2008, TinyMe was ranked #30 at DistroWatch.
