==History==
A former college student who was armed by the [[Overmaster]] and joined his original [[Cadre (comics)|Cadre]]. Nightfall's wristbands can create a null-field of pure darkness, absorbing all light and kinetic energy in a given area. Nightfall used her new gifts alongside the Cadre in battle against the [[Justice League|Justice League of America]], and still later, as part of [[Circe (comics)|Circe]]'s "army" of female super-villains. More recently, Nightfall and the Cadre attempted to take over the world with the help of [[Doctor Polaris|Dr. Polaris]] and a captive [[Controller (DC Comics)|Controller]]. The Power Company thwarted their plans.
