Her natural entertainment ability and uniquely beautiful looks helped her stand out from 350 children who all went to an agency open call in New York City.  Her first job at age 6 landed her a recurring role as Kayla Jones on the ABC Daytime [[soap opera]] ''The City''.  Erica appeared in several national commercials, including: [[Disney World]], [[Red Lobster]], Glad and [[JC Penney]]. 

Many science fiction fans remember her as Lyssa in the Emmy Nominated TV movie: ''[[Babylon 5]]: In the Beginning'', and in ''[[Star Trek: Voyager]]'' as the human girl seen lost inside the mind of the Borg. On ''Charmed'', she played a witch named Freckles who could blow deadly kisses onto her foes.  More notably, Erica played a teen prankster in the opening sequence of the highly watched HBO series ''Six Feet Under'' and Erica's performance as Charlotte in the NBC drama ''Medical Investigation'' gained her a Young Artist Award nomination for a Best Performance by a Guest Star in 2005.
Her extensive voice-over work includes ''Disney's Recess'' and Nickelodeon's ''What Ever Happened to Robot Jones?''

Erica successfully completed her high school studies from the innovative web-based [[Laurel Springs School]]. She maintained with a straight A average.  She also trained for many years with [[Billy Blanks]] who encouraged her to get a first-degree black belt in Tae-Kwon-Do.  Now, as a young adult, Erica has been a production assistant on several commercial and television productions.
