'''55 Bar''' is a [[jazz]] club in [[Greenwich Village]], [[New York City]] ([[Manhattan]]). Founded and in continuous operation since 1918, the club started with a walk-in jam session in the 1980s and switched to an all-jazz format when Ms. Queva Lutz took the room over in 2001.
