The '''Chaos Elemental''' is a video game character. It is one of [[Runescape]]'s most powerful monsters, with a combat level of 305. It was released on [[February]] [[20]], [[2006]]. It bears resemblance to a [[cloud]] and has a [[Lavender (color)|lavender]] [[tint]].
== Location ==
The ''Chaos Elemental'' is located west of the Rogues' Castle in levels 50 through 52 of the members' wilderness. It is right out in the open, as it does not have a lair. However, this place is packed with people who attempt to kill other players making the battle very hard. This monster attacks extremely fast in a spinning circle, allowing it to attack '''all''' players surrounding it at an extremely fast pace. Players must make sure to have protect from magic on, as the primary attack of this creature is magic.

== Dragon Two Handed Sword ==
Along with its release came the much awaited dragon two handed sword. It is one of two monsters with the rare chance of dropping one, the other being the [[Kalphite Queen]].[http://news.runescape.com/lang/en/aff/runescape/newsitem.ws?id=550] The dragon two handed sword, since it is new, is worth quite a small fortune. However, since there are only two creatures that drop this item, it is the opinion of many players the price will never fall below one million gold. The sword is of a red sheen similar to all other dragon weapons, but is knotched. The special attack is an animation of the player ramming the sword into the ground to do additional damage, and is able to attack monsters in the area surrounding the attacker if it is a multi combat zone.
== Attacks ==
The ''Chaos Elemental'' has several attacks. Two of them are [[RuneScape_skills#Ranged|ranged]] attacks and [[RuneScape_skills#Magic|magic]] attacks that can hit an area around it at once. The others are two special attacks. One of them teleports players a couple of spaces to a couple of screens away.[http://www.tip.it/runescape/index.php?rs2monster_id=618] The other can unequip items that the player is wearing. Magic is its preferred attack but both its magic and its ranged attacks can hit over 28 on even the strongest players.
== Strategy ==
Players should come in a large group because defeating a lvl 305 is not the easiest task. When it spawns it will attack to his left, back, right, front in no particular order. It would be useful if you could bring a Cannon, but you can not set up Cannons in the Wilderness. Currently, there is almost always a large group of people here, so the odds of any player being able to kill one is low. However, this is usually beneficial as most players do not need any special or valuable items due to the fact that there are many other players to get hurt instead of them.
