(He graduated from New College in 1973). His published articles in the field of [[epistemology]] are standard reading at the undergraduate and graduate levels at many of the world's most elite colleges and universities, including [[Harvard]] and [[Oxford]].  He resides (as of 2006) in Sarasota with his wife, Robin, and has one daughter, Rachel.
