'''Mandarin Dynasty''' is a band from [[Encinitas]], [[California]] formed in [[2003]] by Mike Sherk, Kevin Ferguson and Taryn Popplewell.  After much touring and playing concerts with the likes of Dear Nora, [[The Blow]], [[Mount Eerie]], Viking Moses and Bobby Birdman, the group has released two EPs, ''Ave Pico'' ([[2003]]) and ''I Am Ready For The Winter Again'' ([[2004]]), as well as one full length, ''Sea Legs'' ([[2005]]).
