'''Ave Maria (Chamber Choir)''' is notable chamber choir from Rivne, Ukraine.
Created in Rivne City Palace of Pioneers and schoolchildren in 1968 Vladimir Ostrovsky titled "Rovenskie bells." Since 1976, the choir was managed by Honored Worker of Ukraine Maria Goncharova. "Rovenskie bells" - a children's choir, who trained hundreds of girls and boys, became the most popular children's choirs in Rivne region.
When it become an "exemplary", winning the title of Laureate Prize II All-Ukrainian Competition. MD Leontovich (1988, Kyiv), the choir deservedly recognized on the territory of Ukraine and abroad. Choirs toured in Bulgaria, Russia, Poland and Estonia.
Since 1993, the choir under a new name - "Ave Maria" is working at a music school № 2, Rivne, and since September 2008 - in the Rivne City Palace of Children and Youth. Over 15 years of exemplary Chamber Choir won the First Prize at the International Competition of children's choirs "Artek Dawn" (2000, Artek, Crimea), the owner of "Grand Prix" International Competition "Spring Bells" (1989). Arts Choir "Ave Maria" was evaluated in Germany, France, Italy, Poland, Russia, Czech Republic (1999 and 2008). Choir organizes, and its leader is an author of the International Competition of Children's and Youth Choirs "Spring Bells", the winner of the Regional ranking-the "Golden Fortune" (2003).
Chamber Choir "Ave Maria" is listed in the encyclopedia "Art collectives of Ukraine" and its director, Maria Goncharova - in an encyclopedia "Women of Ukraine." With the choir are working famous musicians of Rivne - Natalia Shipunov - Musical Choir, winner of international festivals and competitions, associate RSHU Oksana Smetana, senior lecturer of the same university.
The basis of the repertoire of the choir "Ave Maria" is domestic and world classics, adaptations of folk songs, sacred music.
