KallistiOS (KOS) is a free, based on the BSD license system development for the Sega Dreamcast game console, which is now developed by a team of free software developers over the Internet. The project was initiated in 2000 by Dan Potter.<br />


KallistiOS enabled the emergence of a large and active developer community today homebrew on the Dreamcast. Besides the creation of free software also has also been used to develop some commercial games such as Last Hope, Feet of Fury or Inhabitants.<br />
