'''Leo T. Gaje, Jr.''' is the grandson of Great Grand Tuhon Conrado Tortal, and the official heir to the modern [[Pekiti Tirsia|Pekiti-Tirsia]] system of [[Filipino Martial Arts]] (FMA). He carries the title [[Grand Tuhon]] and is well known in his native country of the [[Philippines]]; he is an honored visitor to the [[United States]], where he helped to establish the knowledge of [[Silat]] methodologies and stickwork in the intense manner associated with the well-known [[Dog Brothers]].

Grand Tuhon Gaje pioneered the teaching of Kali in the USA. He and his Pekiti-Tirsia Kali earned recognition and respect from major Martial Arts Organizations such as Jewish Karate Federation, The United States Karate Association International and the United States Karate Federation.

Gaje is known for his appearance in the video ''Surviving Edged Weapons'' as well as for his work as the video's technical advisor. This video, used for U.S. [[police]] training, has been classified in reviews as "one of the finest law enforcement training videos ever made." This video by Calibre Press is also used by British and German police in PAL format.
