== Me ==
A 29 year old former software developer hailing from [[Long Island]], [[New York]] in the [[United States]].
Having entirely burned out from the rigors of the [[Software engineering|software development]] field, I was (after some reflection) quite pleased to be [[Downsizing|laid off]]. Almost immediately I decided, with the support of my lovely wife Jennifer, to return to [[Stony Brook University]] where I am working on my [[Doctor of Philosophy|PhD]] in [[developmental genetics]].
My particular interests are diverse: everything from local history, to music (especially [[Lo-Fi bands]] such as [[Neutral Milk Hotel]] other others of the [[Elephant Six]] Collective), to religion, to the sciences.
