'''Sandra Dillon''' (Born in [[Philadelphia]]), American photographer. Educated at [[Parsons School of Design]], [[Paris]], [[France]]; [[École Nationale Supérieure des Beaux-Arts]], Paris, France; and [[School of Visual Arts]], [[New York City]], [[NY]]. Received [[Bachelor of Fine Arts|BFA]] in Painting, and [[Master of Fine Arts|MFA]] in [[Photography]] and Related Media.

Sandra Dillon is focusing on anecdotal solitude and stoic beauty in [[portraiture]] through images that evoke strong emotions, seducing the viewer into reflecting upon the subject's provocative candor. She uses [[medium format camera]], and is best described as a traditionalist by never [[cropping (image)|cropping]] her images or over-printing them in the darkroom.
