==Early life==

Jaswal learned to write at an early age{{citation needed|reason=Your explanation here|date=October 2014}}.  At 10 years old, he had started reading plays by [[William Shakespeare]] and books about medicine.  Doctors in his hometown of [[Nurpur, Himachal Pradesh]] started allowing him to watch and learn how to perform surgical procedures.

== College and publicity ==

Jaswal was accepted into Chandrigarh College{{citation needed|date=June 2015}} when he was twelve years old.  In 2005, "Firecracker Films" brought him to England, to perform tests he also appeared on [[The Oprah Winfrey Show]].  He also received some media attention for declaring that he knows a cure to cancer, though this was met with skepticism and nothing came of it.<ref>[[Mustafa Djamgoz]] has said, "There’s no doubt he is a brilliant boy. He really knows his stuff and has put his heart, soul and mind into finding a cure for cancer. But his solution is not that novel.
