'''Serenata Guayanesa''' is a famous [[Venezuelan]] [[music group]] conformed by César Pérez Rossi, Mauricio Castro Rodriguez, Miguel Angel Bosch and Iván Pérez Rossi.
Mauricio Castro, Miguel Angel Bosch, Iván Perez Rossi and Caesar Perez Rossi are the four cardinal points of Guayanesa Serenade, grouping that has spread during 30 years idiosincracia Venezuelan with a serenade of Guayana for all Earth. SERENADE GUAYANESA is owner of a history that does not escape to those circumstances casualísticas and bordered by the anecdote. In June of 1971 they sang informally with several friends in house of the governor of the Edo. Bolivar, Manolo Guarrido, that requested to them enough excited with its art, the accomplishment of a disc of guayanesa music. They accepted and soon they prepared the material, tried it and thus they recorded its first album in August of that same year, within the framework of the Fair of the Zapoara. The title of this disc was “Guayanesa Serenade”, since it was a serenade with the song of the region for all Venezuela. Later the successes came: “Chaste Dove”, “the Toad”, “the Mule” and “the Calipso of the Callao”, are only some subjects that did not take in being part of popular feeling. After this first hit they undertook the way to the success. Of a firm triumph, sustained in the respect by the authenticity of Venezuelan music, the preoccupation by the search, investigation, spreading of the cultural manifestations of the country and the creation of Venezuelan and infantile music, they managed to conquer with that unique flavor that the group, the acceptance, admiration and respect of the public characterizes. From now on, the musical history of SERENADE GUAYANESA grows parallelly with its fame. The interpretations of this grouping overflow the local borders and it is developed all over the national territory. Children and adults: of capital or province; for all there is a song of SERENADE GUAYANESA. WRITING PUBLISHED IN THE FIRST DISC, TITLEHOLDER “SERENADE GUAYANESA” MADE BY THE GOB. OF THE STATE BOLIVAR “The history of this disc that includes a selection of pop music Guayanesa of composers of yesterday and today, has been full of exciting alternatives. First it was to obtain the approval of the Arqº Manuel Garrido, Governor of the State Bolivar, for the edition of this album, destined to the celebration of the Fair of the Orinoco of 1.971. The receptivity of the Magistrate and its enthusiasm by the rescue and diffusion of the musical culture Guayanesa have been essential factors for their publication. Soon the process came to select the authors and to find the artists who would make the materialization possible of the idea. We must admit that the good will demonstrated by the participants has been extraordinary, no of professional them in the strict sense of the word, but fine and spontaneous, fans, plenty of the great sensitivity and insurmountable artistic quality. To tell the truth, no of us had idea of the elaboration process that it required what we had seted out, more, the idea went developing until culminating in this “SERENADE GUAYANESA” which today we offer to the consideration of the public. We do not try that here our musical values are represented all, task on the other hand impossible to condense in a single disc. They are present some and they lack many, but we hoped that this is single the first delivery, of a series that in the future allows to present us all whatever have written the musical history of our immense Guayana. In this disc one conjugates with singular success and good judgment to many of the most celebrated and consecrated authors ours with young values of today that as soon as they begin, as healthy intention of stimulus. Thus, next to Don Felix Mejías, the prince of our composers, and next to commendable the old Telmo Almada, of the teachers Jose Antonio Ramirez, Julio Áñez, Luis G. Pacheco and of the popular figures of Alexander Vargas and Eduardo Barreto shows the new promotions represented by Jose Sifontes, Iván Perez Rossi, Hernán Gamboa and Raúl Umanés. As far as the artists executants we have the privilege to hear reunited to recognized the masterful Carmito Gamboa, Antonio Padrino and Eduardo Castillo, that have to their position the responsibility of the mandolinas, alternating with purified the technical interpretativa of Jose Planchart to the violin, Marcos Montalvo, with the accordion and the support of the four into the hands of Hernán Gamboa. Finally the vocal part is in charge of Iván and Cesar Perez Rossi, Hernán Gamboa and Mauricio Castro Rodriguez. He is doubtless that such conjunction of values from now on guarantees the excellent quality of the “Serenade” that we offer to them, like right tribute to the Earth and town of Guayana.” and the Children The idea to compile and to make music for children arises in December of 1977 when we attended the exhibition: “Games and toys for children”, whom the National Museum of Folklore made. The Songs that acclimated the exhibition were the known ones Hispanic origin: I have a Wrist, the Small car, the Payasito, White Popcorn, Rice with the Coco, the Pinto Pájara, and we said ourselves: “we must look for and make songs with Creole airs that speak more of our traditions”. we dedicated ourselves there to curucutear the folkloric repertoire of children, to reread verses of those poets who have dedicated themselves to cultivate this literary sort, soon to adorn them with music. Also, we dedicated ourselves to create some songs for this project. From this work the Flea and the Louse arose, the Botellita, To the One, This boy Don Simón, the Papagayo, Refrain of the Games, with an extraordinary success between the children and the adults. This we have been able it to verify so much in the concerts that we offer in the seats of the smallest towns of the rear area, like in the most demanding theaters of the great cities, where the children have turned upside down in a single voice and have done his what truly he belongs to them: its song. Following the same idea of We sing With the Children, we made the second volume, where also musicalizamos folkloric poems (With real and average) and poems of extraordinary Pink creators like Jesus Marcano (the Metras), Beatriz Mendoza de Pastori (Boat of paper), Ernesto Luis Rodriguez (pony) and we adapted stories with an agreed happy end at the age of a boy (the Wedding of the Mouse Perez). In addition, the teacher Antonio Lauro musicalizó the Song of So that. SERENADE GUAYANESA is contented with the results of this work for children because the infantile public has known to catch the message and is learning from early age to know and to love its music.
