The Great Western Forum is an indoor arena in Inglewood, California. It was the home of the Los Angeles Lakers and Los Angeles Kings from 1967-1999, until the Staples Center was opened. The exterior of the oval-shaped building, completed in 1967 at a cost of $16 million, was modeled after a Greek temple. The arena sat 17,505 for basketball and 16,005 for ice hockey. It had no luxury suites, but held 2,400 club seats. The Forum hosted such events as tennis matches, rock concerts, ice shows, rodeos, and political events just to name a few.

The arena still stands. After the Lakers and Kings left, negotiations took place about having the Faithful Central Bible Church take over the building.
