Talent Inc. was originally founded under the corporate [[umbrella]] of Universum Global, an [[reputation management|employee branding]] firm. Universum Global is based in [[Stockholm]], [[Sweden]], with Talent Inc. operating as its [[subsidiary]]. In 2013, the ownership rights Talent Inc. were sold and it became a standalone company. Jeff Berger and Patrick Butler became the co-founders of the newly formed Talent Inc. and its [[subsidiaries]] that were included in the deal. [[Doostang]] was one of the companies that was included in the deal. Shortly after the formation of Talent Inc. its subsidiary TopResume was launched. In 2014, Talent Inc. announced the acquisition of RezBiz, a provider of resume writing. At the time of the acquisition of RezBiz's assets, it was considered to be one of the leading [[resume]] writing and [[LinkedIn]] makeover services in the [[United States]].
