In the [[Canadian federal election, 2015|2015 federal election]], Tittel stood as the [[Green Party of Canada|Green]] candidate in the district of [[Foothills (electoral district)|Foothills]], placing fourth. At the November 4, 2017 [[Green Party of Alberta (2011-present)|Green Party of Alberta]] convention in [[Red Deer, Alberta|Red Deer]], she was elected leader of the party,<ref name=":0">{{Cite web|url=http://daveberta.ca/2017/11/five-candidates-run-to-lead-the-green-party-of-alberta/|title=Five candidates run to lead the Green Party of Alberta {{!}} daveberta.ca – Alberta Politics|website=daveberta.ca|language=en-US|access-date=2017-12-05}}</ref> and will stand as a candidate in the [[Calgary-Lougheed]] by-election.

Tittel claims the distinction of being the second female [[journeyman]] electrician in the province of Alberta.
