==Club career==
Kelly played with [[Derry City F.C.|Derry City's]] U19 squad before making his senior debut in March 2015, coming off the bench in a 1-0 loss to Dundalk.<ref>{{cite journal|url=http://www.extratime.ie/matches/detail/27213/2/ |title=Derry City 0 Dundalk 1|first=Callum |last=Divin|date=14 March 2015|publisher=Journal Media}}</ref> He went on to make two more substitute league appearances in the [[2015 League of Ireland Premier Division]], as Derry finished in seventh position. He left the club at the end of the season and joined [[University College Dublin A.F.C.|UCD]] on a football scholarship.
