Oracle OpenWorld is an annual Oracle convention for business decision-makers, IT management, and line-of-business end users. It is held in September in San Francisco, California; New Delhi, India; São Paulo, Brazil; and Shanghai, China. The world's largest conference for Oracle customers and technologists, Oracle OpenWorld San Francisco attracted some 60,000 visitors in 2014 and an additional 7 million were expected to follow the event online.

In 2014, the convention program included keynotes from Oracle executives and the company's partners as well as some 2,700 technical and non-technical sessions and workshop in Moscone Convention Center and several nearby hotels.

In December of 2019, Oracle announced that OpenWorld will be moved from San Francisco to Las Vegas, effective in 2020.

Appreciation Event (aka CloudFest)
The Oracle OpenWorld Appreciation Event is the conference's closing party, although it happens on the second last day - Wednesday. The day after is usually low in sessions, no keynotes, and ends by early afternoon.

For many years it used to take place at Treasure Island, with dozens of shuttles taking attendees from Moscone Center over the San Francisco–Oakland Bay Bridge. In 2016 it moved to the AT&T Park (now Oracle Park), where attendees could easily take a walk.
