Kunal married Vimi Lalani in 1987. He lives in Delhi with his wife and three children - Sachi Lalani, Trisha Lalani & Ashraye Lalani. Vimi Lalani leads CSR activities for GroupMega and is a member of the FICCI Flow.
==Early Life==
He was born on 1st August 1960, in Bikaner, to T.M. Lalani and D.D. Lalani. He studied at the University of Delhi and joined his father’s business of automotive components – Indication Instruments Ltd., after.
While working with the family business, he also spent time handling the marketing of the company. His knack for outstanding communication with people, led him to start his own advertising agency instead.
His entrepreneual journey began with Crayons and continues with setting up new, out of the box business ventures, in tune with India’s needs.

Kunal Lalani heads GroupMega, a diversified conglomerate headquartered in New Delhi. It has an extensive presence in India and the world. It has made successful forays into Advertising, Premium Mobility Services, Hospitality, Aviation, Banking, Auto & Marine Components, PVC Profiles and Luxury Automobiles.
Kunal single-handedly set up Crayons, with limited resources in 1986. 34 years down the line, Kunal is at the helm of the Crayons Network. The largest Independent Agency Network in India, Crayons Network has 10 offices across India, namely Delhi, Mumbai, Chennai, Kolkata, Bengaluru, Jaipur, Chandigarh, Trivandrum, Patna and Lucknow. It is the only Indian multinational advertising agency to have offices overseas - in Dubai, Bahrain, Riyadh and Shenzhen. It boasts of an enviable list of local, regional, national and international clients. Crayons Network is, now, India’s largest independent advertising and communications agency, with Kunal providing the strategic direction and controling the agency's management.
Kunal is the pioneer of the Premium Radio-Taxi services in India. MegaCabs, India’s first radio-taxi company was started by him in 2002. He is also the President of AORT (Association of Radio Taxis).
Kunal’s foray into hospitality began with Kuki – a lounge and nightclub in Delhi in 2007. In 2012 he brought the Buddha Bar experience to India, with the first restaurant in Delhi. In 2015, he took over Fort Tiracol Heritage Hotel (A Sanya Resorts & Hospitality venture), a 17th century Portuguese fort in Panjim followed by The Delta by Marriot in Goa (Brittona Hotel and the Yacht Club in Goa Pvt.
