Revision 9419936 of "Longwave transmitter Beidweiler" on enwiki

The '''longwave transmitter Beidweiler''' is a longwave transmission facility of RTL near Beidweiler, Luxemburg.
It is used for transmitting the French programme on 234 kHz with a power of 2000 kilowatts and uses therefore a directional aerial consisting of three guyed, grounded masts on which reusen aerials are mounted.

The longwave transmitter Beidweiler replaces the old [[longwave transmitter Junglinster]], which is since the inauguration of the transmitter Beidweiler in 1974 only spare transmitter.
