Revision 94668563 of "55 Bar" on enwiki'''55 Bar''' is a [[jazz]] club located in [[Greenwich Village]], [[New York City]] ([[Manhattan]]). It was founded, and has been in continuous operation, since 1919. The club started with a walk-in jam session in the 1980s, but switched to an all-jazz format when Ms. Queva Lutz took the room over in 2001.
The 55 Bar often plays host to many [[jazz]] musicians, some underground, some well-known, such as [[Mike Stern]], [[Wayne Krantz]], [[Leni Stern]], [[Chris Potter]], and others.
