John Storm was born January 3, 1760 in Latimore Township, Pennsylvania and died December 13, 1835 in Greene County, Indiana.  He was a soldier in the American Revolutionary War.  He served under Captains Smith and Boyer in the 1st Virginia Regiment starting in 1780.  Later that year he served under Captain Robert Morrows in Colonel William Washington's Continental Dragoons.  He is believed to have fought in the Battle of Cowpens and the Battle of Guiliford Courthouse.
